Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Invopiranha (“Invopiranha,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our invoicing platform at invopiranha.com (the “Service”).
1. Information We Collect
Account information: your email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text) when you sign up.
Business information: your business name, address, phone number, logo, preferred language and currency, and, if you choose to add them, bank/remittance details and a W-9 for your own records and for display on invoices you create.
Client and vendor information you enter: names, emails, phone numbers, and addresses of your own clients and vendors, which you provide in order to create and send invoices or track vendor payments.
Payment information: Invopiranha does not collect or store credit card numbers or bank account credentials. All payment processing — both your subscription billing and payments your clients make to you — is handled directly by Stripe. See Stripe’s own privacy policy for how they handle payment data.
Usage data: basic technical information such as log data and error reports, used to keep the Service running reliably.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide the Service — create, send, and track your invoices;
- Send transactional emails (invoices, payment receipts, overdue reminders, account confirmations) on your behalf to your clients, and to you;
- Process subscription billing and invoice payments via Stripe;
- Respond to support requests;
- Maintain the security and integrity of the Service.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that help us operate Invopiranha:
- Stripe — payment processing for your subscription and for payments your clients send you;
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails (invoices, receipts, reminders);
- Supabase — our database and file storage infrastructure;
- Anthropic — if and when you use the optional in-app chat assistant, your messages in that conversation are processed by Anthropic to generate a response.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Invopiranha or others.
4. Data Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Our database uses row-level access controls so that each business can only access its own data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — see Section 8.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the email below. If you are located in a jurisdiction with additional data protection rights (such as the EU/UK GDPR or the California CCPA), those rights apply to you as provided by applicable law.
7. Children’s Privacy
Invopiranha is intended for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
